And of course, in those final seconds when you first catch glimpse of the cabin and begin to open the car door you will wonder whether the waterfalls depicted in pictures truly are as spectacular as they seem, let us ease your mind by admitting the photos are accurate but the falls are even more stunning than anything we could capture on film!
The sound of rushing water and cascading white rapids welcomes you to Twin Falls, and we doubt the cabin has had a guest yet who hasnt jumped out of the car and ran to the front porch immediately to check out the view of the clear waters of Turniptown Creek surging below. Shady and serene, Twin Falls is literally nestled into a steep hillside, overlooking the water with Adirondacks and a chimnea on the cabins lowest deck. The hot tub is perched on a small landing, just above the main deck and jutted out over the dense greenery lining the creek side. And above the hot tub landing is Twin Falls highest outdoor vantage point of the creek, a covered patio off the fully equipped kitchen and dining area where a caf style table and stools beckon guests to come out for their morning coffee.
Inside the cabin, the lower level is wonderfully open. The game room with it s full size pool table, televisions, and seating area commands most of the space, however the very corner of the terrace level holds one of the most unique amenities of the retreat. French doors lead guests into the terrace level bedroom, where picture windows line the water-side of the room making it the closest you can get to sleeping outside without the bugs and occasional furry visitor sniffing around. The picture windows in Twin Falls great room and loft also take full advantage of the cabins stunning and lush natural setting. The cabin is equipped with a flat screen in the great room and rustic dining room creates a cozy lodge atmosphere that is hard to beat. And be sure you head to the mountains with plenty of groceries because Twin Falls spacious kitchen is fully-stocked with everything you could possible need to cook a great family meal. The remainder of the cabins second level is dedicated to utter relaxation in the master suite. A spacious sanctuary, the floor plan of Twin Falls master suite creates an oversized room where the television is in view of both the king-sized bed and luxurious Jacuzzi tub. Another bedroom with a queen size bed and private balcony overlooking the lush landscape surrounding the cabin is accessible from the cabin loft, as well as the cabins third bath.
