Sweetwater Escape | Hot Tub | Creek Access

Sweetwater Escape is the perfect mountain hideaway for guests looking for a cozy cabin that is big on comfort and charm. Combining the appeal of an escape on the coveted banks of Fightingtown Creek with the desire for space and seclusion tucked away in the North Georgia mountains, Sweetwater Escape is a gem.

Relax and rock away the morning sipping a cup of coffee and looking out over the lush landscape surrounding the cabin. Grab a picnic lunch or your fishing gear and follow the nature trail down to the banks of Fightingtown Creek. Spend a lazy afternoon lounging in the shade of the native laurels lining the creek banks or splashing in the cool, rushing water.

Comfortable immersion in the outdoors inspired the layout, furnishings, and selection of amenities for Sweetwater Escape. Both levels of the cabin offer easy access to indoor and outdoor living spaces, with a gas grill, outdoor dining, and screened porch accessible on the main level.

Decorated with a sophisticated country flair, Sweetwater Escape's furnishings offer a welcoming take on traditional cabin décor, capturing the atmosphere of a quaint retreat rather than a camp. The seasonal wood-burning fireplace is the focal point of the main level, where a spacious open floor plan lends itself to spending time together preparing family dinners or turning on the great room flat screen TV and watching the game, just as easily as it does to a quiet night in with a glass of wine and conversation.

Sweetwater Escape's master suite with a King bed, as well as a second bedroom with a Queen bed, are also located on the main level, while the cabin's third bedroom, furnished with a Queen bed, is on the terrace level.

A retreat in itself, the terrace level of Sweetwater Escape has a cozy den with another flat screen TV and an electric fireplace for ambiance. The cabin's game room is complete with a kitchenette, interchangeable pool/ping pong table, dartboard, and second electric fireplace. The terrace level also offers walkout access to the fire pit for time huddled around the campfire, as well as the steamy hot tub, a comfy porch swing, and additional seating.

With so much to do around the cabin, Sweetwater Escape is a perfect place to spend some time in sweet hibernation. Its convenient location is also ideal for guests who come to the mountains hoping to take advantage of local attractions like whitewater rafting on the Ocoee River, excursions on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, or the unique local shopping and dining options!
